Dylan McDonnell
Dylan McDonnell is the Founder & CEO of Foodini, a dietary intelligence and allergen compliance platform that helps restaurants, venues, and food service operators turn menu data into safe, transparent guest experiences. Drawing on a corporate law background and his own experience living with celiac disease since 2002, Dylan built Foodini to solve a problem he understands firsthand.
Foodini was named #9 on Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies 2026 list in the Restaurants, Dining & Food Services category. The company software ingests and analyzes menus to power allergen and dietary filtering at scale for clients including Marriott, Bluestone Lane, Compass Group, the José Andrés Group, and Major League Baseball.
Today, Dylan is focused on helping operators meet rising compliance demands, including California's SB-68 allergen disclosure requirements. He also chairs the Guest Communication Board for the FARE Hospitality Alliance, advancing industry standards for allergen safety and guest communication.
